The Grundfos ALPHA1 circulation pump is designed for reliable and economical operation. It is a robust and highly efficient circulation pump with a canned motor, equipped with a speed-controlled motor. The ALPHA1 pump is designed for circulating liquids in heating and air conditioning systems.

The pump’s control modes allow the pump’s operation to be adapted to the system in question. The ALPHA1 pump can be set to three control modes: constant pressure, proportional pressure, and constant curve. Three power levels can be set for each mode (select from three curves).

The ALPHA1 circulation pump is equipped with dry-running protection and a robust start function in case of pump clogging. The pump control panel displays any error messages to indicate pump malfunctions or system problems.

Control modes

The pump is equipped with a mode for heating elements, a mode for underfloor heating, and a constant speed mode. Each mode has three speed levels – for adjusting operation according to the system and optimizing energy consumption.

Tool-free connector connection

The lever connector for connecting the power cable allows for easy electrical connection without the use of tools. This simplifies commissioning and saves time spent at the customer’s site.

Robust start

The non-magnetic shaft and bearings reduce the risk of contamination by dirt or magnetite. In the unlikely event of the pump becoming clogged, the motor will repeatedly start with the highest possible torque, ensuring start-up even in difficult conditions.

Dry-running protection

The ALPHA1 pump will stop if dry running is detected to prevent damage.

Automatic venting function

The ALPHA1 pump automatically vents itself, saving plumbers time as there is no need to vent it manually.

Performance at high ambient temperatures

The ALPHA1 pump is designed to operate reliably at ambient temperatures up to 55°C and, when integrated into modern heating appliances, ensures optimal performance and a long service life.

Quiet operation

The ALPHA1 pump ensures quiet operation with a noise level of only 32 dB(A), increasing comfort in residential buildings and workplaces.

User-friendly control panel
